Teacher settles Students and checks attendance

To check names against the register, ensure studentss are in the right class To take the students attention and to start the lesson

Warmer
1. T divides Ss into two groups and make a line 2. T plays music and asks Ss to write verb 1 as much as they can on the whiteboard. 3. Every minute, T will stop the music and Ss should stop to write, and continue again when T plays the music again.

To engage the students with the lesson

Presentation
1. T gives purposive questions about : 2. What do you normally do in the morning? 3. What do you normally do in the afternoon 4. What do you normally do in the evening? 5. Ss answer the questions 6. T writes some Ss answers on the whiteboard

1. To give a contextual and communicative situation 2. To diagnose whether the students have been able to use the simple present tense

Filling the gap


1. T divides Ss into three groups 2. T presents a text word by word and then asks Ss to guess the word 3. Each group writes the answer on the round table.

To highlight simple present verb in the text

Picture game
1. T distributes some pictures to each group. 2. In turn, each member should take the picture and make a sentence related to the picture, and write the sentence on the board. The winner is the group who wrote the most sentences.

1. To check the students understanding about the simple present tense 2. To activate/check whether the student are able to use the simple present tense orally.
