Users (or Other Information Systems) and Functions Company -plays an important role as a link between organization and external entities, such as customers suppliers, distribution, and regulatory agencies Lower-level manager -performs routine, repetitive tasks to help in making operational decisions Instance McDonalds, which sells a large number of hamburgers every day, orders raw materials from its suppliers. 2.
