The document outlines a science session plan for 12-15 year olds about waste. The opening activity scatters various clean waste items around the classroom for the children to find when they enter. The main activities have the children tidy the waste into piles to separate items that can be recycled or reused. They then discuss where separated waste items are taken and how reducing consumption can help the environment. The closing discusses the "3Rs" of reducing waste.
