Dear Grade 2 Parents, Welcome to an exciting new school year! We plan to work hard and have a lot of fun. We look forward to meeting you at the parents reception but first Id like to explain the homework and class work procedures. This and future weekly letters will include the work we have done this week as well as any upcoming homework and tests. Please read carefully

2A Sun Mon Tues Wed -School Library -Reading: Arthurs Reading Race -Grammar/Phonics Practice -Poem: I Can -Phonics Practice -English Centers (Technology, SRA, Guided Reading, Conference Writing) -Spelling Lesson 1 (flag, fin, ran, has, fill, sat, list, sit, bag, win) Homework write each word 2 times in the spelling journal and then write 2 sentences using spelling words.
