Guaranty Agencies
on Uncorrected Data
Adjustments
A guaranty agency should NOT review a school’s uncorrected data
adjustment. Schools must submit all uncorrected data adjustment
material directly to the U.S. Department of Education (Department).

If a guaranty agency receives an uncorrected data adjustment from


a school, it should immediately contact the school to inform it that
the uncorrected data adjustment must be sent to the Department at
the address shown on page 93 of the “Uncorrected Data
Adjustment” section. The agency should also indicate that the
request must be sent to the Department within 30 calendar days of
the school receiving its official loan record detail report.
