Clean Sweep: Phillips Community - Saturday Oct. 13th, 2012

The Phillips Community CLEAN SWEEP event will take place on Saturday, October 13th from 9 AM to 2 PM. Volunteers can sign up and receive a free t-shirt at two locations before fanning out across neighborhoods to sweep streets clean. Trash collected will be ready for pickup by 2 PM, and a free lunch and entertainment will follow in Stewart Park from noon to 2 PM, providing an opportunity for neighbors to meet and unload unwanted household items.

IMPORTANT: Household items, tires, TVs, etc. MUST be at your regular garbage pick-up spot NO LATER than 9:00 AM Saturday. YELLOW bags of trash collected Saturday MUST be ready for Pick up NO LATER than 2:00 PM Saturday

Contact Hennepin Cnty. At 612-348-3777 for their safe disposal. NOTE: Appliances, yard waste & Leaves will be picked up on your next recycling or garbage day. Leave them in your regular Pick-Up spot.
