Technology plays an important role in education by improving over time. Computers and mobile phones in 2012 were much more advanced than in 1995 with higher processing speeds. Technology benefits education by promoting creative thinking, actively engaging students, developing knowledge, and bringing innovations. However, overreliance on technology can cause students to lose communication, cooperation, and basic knowledge skills. Education with technology is more active and informal while allowing all students to participate versus without technology. To better prepare students, educators must integrate technology into the field of education.
