Char Styles 2

The 12-14 year old target group is moving from cartoon TV shows to gaming characters but still prefers cartoon-like styles. Boys generally prefer slightly simplified cartoons while girls prefer more realistic styles with more facial expressions. Girls want a strong female role model who can handle challenges, while boys want a female heroine who also uses weapons and guns.

The 12-14 age group are growing out of TV cartoons and into gaming characters but the styles they like are s=ll cartoonish. The general consensusthe boys prefer the slightly simplied cartoons, and the girls like them more realis=c and with more facial expression. The girls want a strong female role model who deals with stu, and the boys are happy to have a female heroine but would like some weapons, and some guns.
