Students have practiced writing capital and lowercase letters and writing letters top to bottom using lined paper. The learner will use new media, an IPad, and a new application called Letter School, to expand existing technological knowledge and learn new technology skills. The learner will identify capital and lowercase letters and sounds. The learner will practice writing and forming capital and lowercase letter appropriately using the top to bottom method.

Activity:
This lesson will be accomplished during the Center block. Center 1: IPad/Letter School app Center 2: Mini whiteboards to practice letters and sounds Center 3: Make abab, aabb, abc patters with colorful cubes Center 4: Art project
Notes:
There will be 4-6 students at each center/table group. Students will change centers about every 12 minutes, except for IPad/Letter School app center. I have only one IPad so as soon as the student finishes Letter School app the teacher will call the next student on the list. I also downloaded app onto my laptop, which allows another students to use theLetter School app too. If center time runs out, this center can be accomplished on the next school day.
