Keith, Justin Reflection Form

Fiona Page, an author, visited SEHS to share her story with students. Students were asked to complete a reflection form with questions about Page's presentation. One question asked what makes some places and activities harder for Page despite conquering her blindness. Another asked what the student learned from Page that they didn't know before, with an example answer being that blind people can better judge character without appearances. The guest speaker was praised for being inspiring and the opportunity for students to meet her seen as positive.

2. What is one thing that you learned from Ms. Fiona Page today that you did not know or had not
thought of before listening to her story or circumstances today?

How good a blind person is at judging someones character because they cant judge them by the way they look and that so often, the sighted must miss out on so many good opportunities because we can see what other people look like.____________________________________

My wife and I feel very grateful that we were able to meet and hear Ms. Fiona Page speak. Ms. Page is truly inspiring and a beautiful person inside and out. I am extremely grateful that the students of SEHS had the opportunity to meet and hear Ms. Page. It isnt very often that the students have the opportunity to interact with someone on such a positive level.
