Model railway
Emerald Lake Park has the largest working model railway in HO scale (1:87) in the southern hemisphere 180 square metres in incredible detail. The model, including miniatures living in towns, city and country, buttons to press and trains to watch, is undercover and is open Thursday to Sunday (open seven days during school and public holidays) from 11.30am. Picnic shelters
Shelters of varying sizes can be booked for private use: Lions Den: 100 people (barbecue, toilets, parking) Messmate: 60 people (barbecue, parking, electricity) Boatshed: 40 people (view of the lake) Poolside: 40 people (near wading pool and playgrounds) Lakeside: 40 people (near wading pool and playgrounds) Picnic shelters can be booked through Puffing Billy Railway on 9757 0700.
