Job Description

Department: System Administration Designation / Job Title: Senior Software Engineer Reporting to: Team Lead Job Summary: We are searching for a top performing Linux System Administrator who have in depth fully managed Linux and related LAM programs expertise and customer support skills. Our System Administrator work on provisioning new servers, imaging, monitoring and other daily routines. Provide escalation support via phone and email. Lead new deployments from the systems perspective by coordinating with customers and internal resources.

Responsibilities & Tasks i)Primary responsibilities/tasks will consist of installation/maintenance/upgrade of Servers. It will also consist of network administration, and application support. ii)Fully manage the installation, configuration and troubleshooting of Linux servers. iii)Taking ownership of issues from identification through resolution iv)Installing, configuring and maintaining services such as Web Servers, Apache, My SQL, and Exim.

Job Specification Education: B.Tech (We won't be strict on this though, any technical degrees like MCA etc will work), Experience: Minimum 2 Years Language: English Competencies:* Advance knowledge of the Linux Operating system,, Apache, Tomcat , Jboss, MySQL,Exim; Understanding of networking concepts and practices; Experience with Apache, high volume of servers monitoring tools like nagios,;Working knowledge of protocols such as DNS, HTTP, SMTP, SNMP; Trouble shooting, Disaster Recovery, 2 years Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience;

Professional Qualities: RHCE (preferred) Adaptable and able to pick up new techniques.
