Term 1 2013
Hello and welcome to the New Year 2013. The Seaford Community Centre (SCC) is very pleased to start the year with a new identity including a new look newsletter and a new name. In 2012 the Management Committee decided that a change of name may assist people in the local community to become aware that the Centre (in operation since 1993!) is available to all community members of Seaford and surrounding areas as a place to come to participate, to learn new skills and of course have some fun. As such the Centre is now known as Seaford Community Centre (formerly Seaford/Moana Neighbourhood Centre). The year promises to be full of new activities and opportunities for improving on skills in a variety of areas and is of course available to people of all ages as your Community Centre. There will also be anniversary celebrations as SCC celebrates its 20th Birthday! So if you are looking to increase your fitness, gain new skills for improved job prospects, link with other local parents or friends or indeed volunteer, have a look at what is on offer in the full program for 2013. Thanks to all those who have supported and continue to support SCC.
