Ganesh) Sr. Personnel Officer (RR) For Chief Personnel Officer Sub:- General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) for filling up of 25% net direct recruitment quota vacancies in Group C categories-Extension of currency upto 31.03.2014. As the Railways are aware, the currency of the scheme of General Departmental Competitive Examination (GDCE) has been extended from time to time and the same was last extended upto 31.03.2011 vide this Ministrys letter No. E(NG)I-2008/PM1/6 dated 22.08.2008. After considering the views of Zonal Railways/Production Units regarding its further continuance, it has been decided to extend the currency of the scheme upto 31.03.2014 on existing terms and conditions.
