CRIME ALERT Burglary Investigation


February 13, 2013
Morris Township Police responded to a home on Normandy Parkway near Featherleigh Rd. on a reported burglary. Investigation reveals that entry was gained forcibly through a rear door. Several items of value were removed from the master bedroom. The incident is believed to have occurred between the hours of 7:00am and 4:00pm on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. If you saw anything suspicious in the area please call the Morris Township Police at 973-539-0777. Morris Township Police Department encourages our residents to report suspicious vehicles and persons IMMEDIATELY! We also ask that residents take proactive steps in securing their homes, such as; interior and exterior lights coming on at dusk; not allowing newspapers to collect outside, and having your home watched by a neighbor or nearby friend/family member if it will be unoccupied for an extended period.
