Appendix - G Format of Advance Release Order

1. This document provides the format for an Advance Release Order (ARO) issued by the Government of India Ministry of Commerce. 2. The ARO allows a license holder to obtain specified quantities and values of goods from an indigenous producer in advance of receiving the full import license. 3. The ARO details the applicant name and license details, items and quantities to be supplied by the indigenous producer within the validity period, and notes that the ARO must be produced to the producer for supplying the goods and that quantities and values are limiting factors.
