This calculation-method is based on the theoretical formulas for obtaining dewpoint and Relative Humidity from whirling hygrometer gauge readings and are considered to be more correct than disc or table -determinations. Instructions & Options-sheet:

This calculation-spreadsheet is designed to calculate the Dewpoint and Relative Humidity, from the Dry- and Wet-Bulb Temperatures, obtained from a whirling hygrometer (acc. to ASTM E-337) by using the theoretical formulas that define the relationship between all parameters.
Select in which unit-system you want to work: Select what pressure-unit you wish to use: Define what the (usual) maximum Relative Humidity limit is where you work: Define how many degrees (C or F) the substrate-temperature should be above the dewpoint: Save this worksheet as a new template so you can easily run it with your own configurations Every-time you want to calculate the Dewpoint & Relative Humidity, use your new template to fill out the Dry Bulb-, Wet Bulb-, Surface-Temperature and possibly Barometric Pressure and your spreadsheet will instantly give you the governing Dewpoint, Relative Humidity and tell you if surface-preparation and/or coating-application is allowed. (Data can only be entered in white cells)
