1. ENGLISH PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE

Target population: Children (5th graders) The development of this activity will allow students to acquire a higher quality management of prepositions of place in English, through an interactive and unconventional manner. Moreover, students will learn new vocabulary which they will be in contact with for specific, daily life situations.

2. OBJECTIVES -Learning to use prepositions of place in the appropriate contexts -Contacting students with a new and important aspect of the language -Learning new vocabulary and using it during class time -Interacting with class peers by making use of the new lexicon

3. AIDS FOR CLASSROOM WORK: video-beam, computers.

4. DIDACTIC PROCEDURES: a) Search on previous knowledge of the topic b) Showing images on the board with the aim of polling and reinforcing knowledge c) Saying sentences out loud (the teacher); then asking students to participate by completing them on the board

5. STUDENTS ACTIVITIES (DESCRIPTION): pair work activities using Voki, reading activities by PowerPoint, individual activities with JCross-hot potatoes as well as with JCloze.
