Production Log 8 Meeting with Music Producer Today I spoke to my music producer who will be helping me make a piece of music for the promo video. We discussed many issues on what message the music should give and what genre it would be. My client and I have decided that we would like an up-beat fast but smooth instrumental sequence. We thought this would give the promo video more of a fun and uplifting theme and also make it more interesting. It would also keep the pace moving with its fast beat. My music producer ST said that it would be very possible to create exactly what my client and I want and that it should be ready within the next two weeks. I will keep in close contact with my music producer to watch his progress throughout the making and to see if there are any changes we wish to make to it. He has agreed to give us a demo of the music in the next week to let us hear what he has done so far and to let me know for editing. As soon as I have the demo I will begin editing as the music will help me determine the pace of the video and when to cut as I would like to cut on the beat to the music and create a smooth transition between all cuts.
