SAP query/Quickview allows users to easily create reports without programming knowledge by selecting tables to join, choosing fields for input screens and output, and defining a sort order. The user selects tables to join from the data source in SQ01, inserts the tables one by one, and the system automatically maps the links between them. The user then selects the required input, output, and sort fields before activating and testing the new Quickview report.

Create a SAP query /Quickview easily [SQ01]


SAP query / Quickview is used to create a simple report easily without any programming/ ABAP knowledge required. T he f ollowing example shows how easy and quick it is to create a Quickview. Go to SQ01 and create a quickview.

I select table join in data source. Go to Insert table and insert all tables one by one which you want to consider f or input/output. Example i select MARA and MARC. It will automatically f ind the link b/w these 2 tables and display the link in graphical manner. Go back and select the f ields you require f or input selection screen, output f ields required and sort sequence of the output f ields. T hat's it . Activate the quick view and test it.
