The Ishtar Gate was constructed as an entrance to Babylon dedicated to the goddess Ishtar. It was made of glazed bricks arranged in alternating patterns of dragons and lions. Through the gate was a processional way lined with statues of lions. The gate was originally located in Babylon but is now housed in the Pergamon Museum in Berlin.

This structure is very interesting
