 You have created two high-quality cliché-verre prints that each have a wide range of values, and clearly presents a
photographic image combined with a hand-made, experimental “etching” on a transparency.
 You have created at least two experimental etchings on transparency film, and have submitted these etchings with
your final prints.

 You have thoughtfully applied/removed the printing ink on your transparency, considering it’s texture, pattern, or
other visual effect of interest.
 You have created test strips to experiment with different aperture and exposure times to determine the correct
exposure for each print.
 You have used various darkroom equipment (grain focusers, filters, easels, etc.) and effective problem solving
when necessary to obtain a strong exposure.
 You have experimented with combining your etching with your image in a variety of ways to identify an interesting,
well-designed final product.
