Different Learning Theories

1. This document compares different learning theories: behaviorism, cognitivism, constructivism, and humanism. 2. Behaviorism sees learning as changes in observable behavior through conditioning. Cognitivism sees learning as changes in mental structures and processes through assimilation and accommodation. Constructivism views learning as an active, social process where learners construct knowledge. Humanism sees learning as a personal process towards self-actualization through fulfilling innate needs and potentials. 3. The theories differ in their views of the learning process, the role of the learner and teacher, and methods of learning. However, all see learning as an individual process to some degree.
