Band Room News!


Greetings from the Band Room!
First, thank you all for helping at the band car wash earlier this month. We raised over $1,000 toward our big trip to Florida next year! The students worked hard and had some fun as well. Dont forget about our upcoming concerts. The list of concerts to the right. We will be going to Des Moines Elementary School for our annual recruitment concert. This is a great way for younger students to see how much fun band is! We will also be having our annual District Band Night. Please make sure your child is at the high school by 6:00PM. Concert dress is required. This is a fantastic opportunity for your child to mentor the younger band students!

Fundraising!
Over the summer, we will be hosting fundraising opportunities to make some extra money for our Florida trip. The next car wash will be June 23 at 9:00AM. Please concert one of the band directors if you are planning on participating in this event. Also, we will be doing our annual band banquet on August 24the day before school starts. Tickets are $10 for parents; current band members and children under 4 are free. All proceeds go to the band program for new uniforms and instruments. We would all love to see your smiling faces at the banquet!
