School Fees
Many Thanks to those parents who are paying tuition fees. Last term, 233 parents were handed over to our debt collector for not paying previous years fees (a total of R2 501 150). These parents must now make arrangements with Yvonne at CeeBee Debt Management (086 122 3328) with regard to payment of their arrears. Payment of this years fees must still be made to the school.

Kip McGrath
Learners experiencing problems in English and Maths can receive private tuition at Kip McGrath centre @ Boskruin Shopping Village. Learners will receive a free Assessment, thereafter a personalized programme will be drawn up to suite each child's needs. Class sizes are very small, 1:6 for a 1.20min session per week. There are currently many Sharonlea learners attending and achieving fantastic results. We encourage all parents who are concerned about their children's Maths and English results to please book a free assessment to determine their areas of weakness. Call Shereen for a free assessment on 0716585354 / www.kipmcgrath.co.za

Winter Uniform

BOTTOM GATE From 1 June

To alleviate the traffic congestion at the school, we have decided to make use of the bottom gate. From the end of May all transport providers will be asked to use the new gate in Mahogany Street. We appeal to parents to inform all transport providers to drop the learners at the bottom gate and not to enter the one way.

We have changed over to winter uniform and we appeal to you that all learners should wear the correct attire. Please make sure you wear the complete winter uniform. Boys: Grey trousers, white long sleeve shirt, tie, jersey and / or blazer. Black school shoes, grey school socks. Girls: Grey trouser, white long sleeve shirt, tie, jersey and / or blazer, black school shoes. OR Tunic, White long sleeve shirt, grey tights OR long grey socks, black school shoes.

BIG Walk
Thank you very much to all the parents supporting us with our fundraising initiative. It is greatly appreciated! All sponsorships and/or prizes are welcome. If you are willing to assist us in any way, please contact Miss Oppermann [email protected]

Caring Day gives to Smile Foundation

Thanks to your generosity every Wednesday, Caring Day once again made a difference in someones life on Monday. During our weekly assembly, we handed over a cheque to the Smile Foundation. The Smile Foundation is a South African nongovernmental organisation for children. Charity work of this nature is undeniably gratifying as were in the business of changing the lives of disadvantaged South African children with facial deformities. We assist by putting the smile back onto our childrens faces with free corrective facial reconstructive surgery and treatments.

Waiting Area
All learners must be collected by 16:00pm at the latest. There will be no adult supervision after that. Learners could get hurt and we cant be held responsible after that time.

Happy Birthday!
