This will aid in classroom management, learning names of students and attendance. 3. Students will begin class by echo clapping various rhythmic patterns. 4. Vocal warm-ups will enable every student to prepare the mind and voice for music class. When possible, these warm-ups will be based off of repertoire being covered for the day. 5. Students will be expected to give their best effort and be engaged during the full class period. 6. When class is over, students will line up quietly in chair order when dismissed.
1. Students will enter the room quietly and take assigned seats. 2. Students will begin class by echo clapping various rhythmic patterns. 3. Students will sing vocal warmups. 4. Students will be engaged and give their best effort during class. 5. Students will quietly line up for dismissal.

Consequences: First Offense: Verbal warning Second Offense: Name written on board Third Offense: Separation from class and/or loss of instrument privileges Fourth Offense: Phone call or letter to parents Fifth Offense: Principals Office
Music Rewards System: Each day, all classes will receive feedback on their ability to follow the set music rules. When students have a positive and productive day, a clothespin will be added to their class musical keyboard. Once a class has completely filled their board, they will receive a reward in class where music games will be played and/or a musical will be shown to celebrate their achievement.
