The Chief Minister's Solar Powered Green House Scheme provides funding for constructing 300 square foot houses for poor rural residents at a cost of Rs. 1.80 lakhs per unit, with Rs. 1.50 lakhs for construction and Rs. 30,000 for solar powered home lights. As of April 30, 2012 the scheme had a target of completing 1738 houses for 2011-2012, and had completed 208 houses so far for a total value of Rs. 312 lakhs.

CHIEF MINISTERS SOLAR POWERED GREEN HOUSE SCHEME As per G.O. (Ms.No.46, RD & PR (SGS 1) Department, Dated 17.08.2011

Chief Ministers Solar powered Green House Scheme was introduced during 2011-12 for the benefit of the poor living in below poverty line in the rural areas for the construction of houses measuring 300 Square feet with an unit cost of Rs.1.80 Lakhs. The construction component is Rs.1.50 Lakhs and Rs.30,000/is for providing Solar powered Home lights. So far achievement made as on 30.04.2012
