Circle time review fruit: a pineapple, grapes, blueberries, a strawberry, a Label objects in the classroom kiwi, bananas, a pear, an orange, a lemon, an Make a chart of classroom objects apple, a watermelon, a peach, cherries Classroom objects: pencil, pen, bag, book, desk, chair, table, white board, crayon, eraser, stapler, a pair of scissors, a piece of paper, glue stick Grammar Focus: Asking What is it? and answering in a full sentence It is a/an Describing the colour of an object It is a yellow pencil. I like green. etc. What are you doing? I am singing Phonics This week we will review letter names and sounds and begin practicing writing using correct formation of the letters. Review This week we will continue our basic review numbers 0 20, colours, and shapes etc. We will review I like and I dont like. With fruit Notes / parent follow up: This week continue reviewing core vocabulary colours, numbers, shapes and classroom objects. Try to encourage your child to answer and speak in full sentences. When reviewing vocabulary take note to use the correct prepositions a and an. Like: It is an apple. Or It is a book.
