Organizational Behavior at Work

Organizational behavior is the study and application of how people act individually and in groups within organizations. There are four forces - people, environment, structure, and technology - and four models - supportive, collegial, custodial, and autocratic - that affect organizational behavior. Organizational climate refers to the characteristics of a healthy or unhealthy organization and is influenced by theories such as McGregor's Theory X and Y and Ouchi's Theory Z.
