President’s Message
Welcome to Cebu’s youngest university whose vision for excellence
has been indelibly carved into its graduates who have made thier
marks not just in the local arena but in the global map as well. As
a non-elitist institution that welcome students from all walks of life,
social background, race, creed, and culture, the University of Cebu
boasts of a quality education that caters to the need of its students.
Equipping them with the knowlege, skills, attitudes and values that
are essential in living a fulfilling and meaningful life, the university Atty. Augusto W. Go
has indeed come a long way. With its opening in 1964, the univer- President
sity has graduated more than a hundred thousand students, all of University of Cebu
whom have carved their niches here and abroad.
Chancellor’s Message
Through time, UC has persevered to grow by leaps and bounds, in
numbers and standards. One simple reason for UC’s steady growth
is the school’s unfailing vision to become a leading university in
the Asia-Pacific region. While this vision may be met with raised
eyebrows, let it be known that many skeptics have already been
convinced by the school’s version of success-themed stories.
Having this as its general picture, UC invites you then to take part in
its continuing journey towards its envisioned direction.
