We will be using the concept of CRAP to analyze both image 1 and image 2. C contrast R repetition A alignment P proximity

Lack of contrast as they only utilize black color for almost every aspect. The main color of this design is only black and white, while a little bit of orange is used only for the subtopics.

It is more captivating as they use more range of colors rather than only black. The main color balance that can be found in this image is white and grey, but different colors are used to represent different topics.

There are inconsistencies of the upper and lowercase, and also the font types. There are inconsistencies in the layout alignment where some are aligned left and some are aligned center.

There are a repetition in using the font types for the topics and subtopics. There are consistencies where in the layout alignment as the gap between texts and images.

Alignments are not consistent as the top part of the text is justified left, while the bottom part of the text is uncertain. The text is not fully justified, this makes the whole image looks uneven and unorganized.

Alignments are consistent as the texts are all justified left, and also the white space between texts are even. White space between texts and images are even and enables readers to distinguish the contents.

Layout is lack of proximity as elements are not grouped accordingly

Layout presents good proximity as elements are group accordingly to the topics. Information are group accordingly to specific topics and subtopics.

Information are not organized properly.

As what we have mentioned in previous slides, we think image 2 is better than image 1. Image 2 is good in the use of colors, text and the spaces of reading shown. While image 1s CRAP is mostly opposite to what we have mentioned on Image 2. The judgment based on Contrast, Repetition, Alignment and Proximity (CRAP).
