Level: 1 year high school

Skill: Present Simple, Adverbs of frequency and third person (s, es, oes, ies and ies Expected Outcomes: Students will be able to do a English guide about Present Simple and adverbs of frequency . Students will be able to identify the use of third person when ending in o and y. Resources: Board, Marker

Time Introduction 15 min.

Comments

Greeting and call the roll. The teacher will explain what students will do in class (the guide with marks)

Core of the class Pre-stage

Teacher will make a review of the use of Present Simple 25 min and adverbs of frequency (using examples). Teacher will explain the use of third person when ending in o and y.

While-stage

Students will be given a Guide that will be evaluated with 40 min mark. The guide is related to the use of Present Simple and adverbs of frequency. (respond questions, fill in the gaps, locate adverbs of frequency and create sentences using present simple and adverbs of frequency).

Post-stage

15 1min.

Students will do some exercises using third person. This will be resolved immediately on the board.

Closing

Students will be given the instruction for the following 10 min class. They will have the First English test of the semester.
