Mechanical Design Experience. Ability to read and understand Engineering/Manufacturing drawings. Must have completed "SolidWorks online Tutorials - 30 minutes lesson is inWegraWed in SolidWorks sofWware. Knowledge of Windows Operating System.

Day-1
Introduction and Interface: User Interface, View orientation, Moving Command Manager & Property Manager toolbars, Magnifying Glass, Customize command manager, Property manager, Short-cut assigned, Task pane, Status bar, Confirmation corner, Tools-options-system options-general options and sketch options, Unit system, Tip of the day Sketching: Sketch entities, Sketch tools, Rapid sketch, Repair sketch , Dimensions, Relations, Constraining, Basic equations and link values, Numeric Sketch Input, Slot Sketch Entity, Blocks (overview for m/c design).

Day-2
Part Modeling: Feature tools- Extrude, Revolve, Fillet-Chamfer, Rib, Draft, Shell, Instant 3D, View creation, Display pane, Reference geometry, Equations, Measure tool, Sensors, Materials & appearances, Mass properties, Dual dimensions for measurement, Configuration.

Day-3
Assembly: Insert component, Fixed part, Floating part, Degrees of freedom and standard mates, Create sub-assembly Move/rotate components, Smart fasteners, Interference detection, Clearance verification, Isolate, Exploded view, Assembly features, Assembly bill of materials.

Day-4
Drawing:
File location- document templates & sheet formats, Concept of angle projection (1st or 3rd), Drafting standard, Model views, Standard views, View palette, Projected view, Model dimensions, Layer properties, View scale, Sheet scale, View properties, Sheet properties, Section view, Detail view, Break view, Crop view, Ballooning, BOM, annotations, Print Option For Drawing, Format Painter , Layer Settings.
