The letter is from the General Secretary of BSNLEU (BSNL Employees Union) to the Director (HR) of BSNL regarding issues with providing prepaid SIM cards with Rs. 200 talk time per month to non-executive BSNL employees as agreed in the National Council. Specifically, barring certain call levels and disallowing SMS has caused problems in configuring the SIM cards in the IN system. The General Secretary requests removing restrictions to simply provide a prepaid CUG plan with Rs. 200 talk time and allow the non-executive CUG to join the service CUG.

Sub: - Provision of pre-paid SIM with a talk time of Rs.200/- pm to Non-Executives problems faced Reg. I wish to bring the following to your kind notice for favour of necessary action. As per the decision taken in the National Council, Prepaid SIM with a talk time of Rs.200/- pm has been issued to the TMs, RMs and select Non-Executive employees. However, in this regard Corporate Office has laid down some conditions also. For example, 94 level is barred and SMS are not allowed. It is understood that because of the aforementioned conditions, the provision of the pre-paid SIM is not getting configured in the IN system at Pune. With a view to overcome this problem, I request you to issue the eligible Non-Executives a simple prepaid CUG plan with talk time of Rs.200/- pm without any restriction. Further, their CUG may also be allowed to be part of the CUG of service connections. Thanking you, Yours sincerely
