Animation Summer Camp Information

ANIMATION SUMMER CAMPS

Are you interested in; drawing cartoons, cartoon characters or animation?


Then you will not want to miss these awesome summer camps! Taught by Mike
Roy and Jon Jewett, professional Animators with over 15 years of combined
experience, having worked on shows like; Chaotic, George of the Jungle,
CBC‛s Lunar Jim, and Poko.

What Students will Learn: Dates and Times:


• Drawing Cartoon Characters Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 3:45
• Background Design
• Storyboarding/Comic Strips July 6 - 10 ..............Gr 3-5
• Acting for Animation July 13 – 17 ..............Gr 6-8
• Sculpting Characters July 20 – 24 ..............Gr 9-12
• Drawing from Life July 27 - 31...............Gr TBA
• Color Theory

Camps will take place at Evergreen Park School. At the end of each week
students will take home a portfolio of their work from the week, including
characters and backgrounds that they designed themselvs, sculptures of their
characters, and DVD‛s containing their digital animations.
