Pipe Incompresable Fluid Pressure Drop Calculations: Input Data

This document contains input and output data for calculating pressure drops in pipes carrying both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids. It provides details on flow rate, pipe diameter, length, roughness, density and viscosity for an input example of a water line carrying 13 gpm through 0.785 inch diameter piping that is 100 feet long. The output shows the calculated turbulent flow parameters, pressure drops, and total friction loss for this Newtonian fluid example. It also provides definitions for rheological properties of yield stress fluids, such as infinite shear viscosity, apparent viscosity and yield stress.
