Television- could you be without it? Discuss. Arguments FOR: 1.

TV-a waste of time which could be devoted to family and friends. 2. Mindless sitcoms full of wit. 3. The real life substituted for soap operas 4. The violence and pornography showed in the television (brutal and porno films, the news from all over the world) 5. Untrue information transmitted by reporters.

6. The television filled with only bad information. Arguments AGAINST: 1. The only source of information. 2. The only source of entertainment. 3. TV as a way of spending lonely evenings. 4. Television- medium which connect people (watching TV together with friends).

5. TV- a window on the world. 6. An opportunity to see up to date films without going to the cinema.
