You may want to make a photocopy to make future calculations. - Practice once using the example given separately. - Write the results where the arrow tells you (which in some cases is not in the box right below) - Gather all the input data in advance. The input data is shown with small triangles on the left side. - Notice that in some scales the numbers actually grow from right to left. - When lining up two scales, do it first using rounded numbers, and then refine the actual number. (*) Select the closest number in the ruler (in this example: 3.0% and 7.5%)
