Thank you for your continued service to the U.S. Congress and the House Conunittee on
Appropriations.

I am requesting funding for Second District Methamphetamine Eradication in the Fiscal


Year 2010 Conunerce/Justice/Science appropriations bill. The entity designated to receive
funding for this proj ect is the Daviess County Sheriffs Department, located at 212 St. Ann 's
Street, Owensboro, KY 42303. The funding of this project would be to assist law enforcement in
their ongoing battle to combat methamphetamine use and production.

Consistent with the Republican Leadcrship 's policy on earmarks, I hereby certify that to
the best of my knowledge this request (1) is not directed to an entity or program named or will be
named after a sitting Member of Congress; (2) is not intended for a "front" or "pass tluough "
entity; and (3) meets or exceeds all statutory requirements for matching funds where applicable. I
further certify that should this request be included in the bill, I will placc a statement in the
COllgressiollal Record describing how the funds will be spent and justifying the use of federal
taxpayer funds.

I certify that neither I, nor my spouse, have any financial interest in this project.
