The document outlines the steps for applying for a USA visa as a student. It discusses the two main categories of visas - non-immigrant and immigrant - and notes that students seeking to study in the US require a non-immigrant F-1 visa. The first step is to pay application and service fees at an HDFC bank branch, followed by making a $200 SEVIS fee payment online. Applicants then fill out the DS-160 application form online and take printouts before scheduling a visa interview appointment. Required documents are then submitted at the VFS center, and the final step is attending the visa interview.
