October 2012 to Present Springboard Hackney, The Levy Centre Reception & Administration Support (Volunteer role 2 days a week) First point of contact on a public facing reception, servicing a number of organisations in a busy employment and training centre in Hackney. Admin support to the staff team; typing up letters, updating spreadsheets, franking mail, contacting learners, booking interviews, send emails, scanning & shredding, photocopying, faxing Maintaining the reception area; organise leaflet displays and keeping reception tidy, stock check, opening post, create new folders and filing, updating registers Frontline customer service; dealing face to face with visitors to the centre, answering the telephone, preparing tea/coffee, help organise rooms for meeting, support visitors to the centre in using the computers, referring visitors to organisations that support people into work
