Types of Sentences

Declarative Imperative

Exclamatory Interrogative

A Declarative sentence tells something. It ends with a period.

An Exclamatory sentence expresses strong feelings. It ends with an exclamation point.

An Imperative sentence gives a request or an order. It usually ends with a period.
