MAKING NOTES

Topics and information that are taught do not last more than many
hours in the memory. Chapters learnt in one period may not be in
mind afterwards. Therefore, there should be a habit of taking notes
in order to review, revise and developing one’s dexterity in the
subject matters. So as to be concerned and get interested in the
lessons the habit of taking notes is very essential and important.
As the lessons do not provide more information than told by the
teachers taking notes is more essential. Similarly, jotting down the
notes is boon for the students in exams as it is easy to go through
the whole lessons at a glance.
In students life good academics is essential and to catch it is their
main aim. So to fulfill their desired aim one has to give more
importance in taking and making notes. It is good foundation and
step to success. Albeit there are books, notes that are prepared are
good source of information on subject matter which ultimately
raise pupils’ poor condition on academics.

How to build a habit of making notes?


¾ Pay attention in the class.
¾ Adhere only to the topics taught.
¾ Note down the important data and information about the
points told by the teacher.
¾ Go through the topics and rough note.
¾ Make a fair copy of it and note all the subject matter.

The note thus prepared is a nice reference of the topics and plays
stupendous role in case of examination.
