1) The Metropolitan Government of Nashville and Davidson County received a Freedom of Information request from Lisa Leeds to inspect or receive copies of correspondence between Mayor Dean and Buck Dozier regarding plans for the Tennessee State Fairgrounds property from March 2008 to May 2009. 2) While the Freedom of Information Act does not technically apply to the Metropolitan Government, they will honor the request for information. 3) The requested records are currently being retrieved, reviewed, and redacted as necessary. A response with either the records or a determination about their accessibility will be provided by June 30th to allow time for ensuring confidential information is removed.
