Logo Photoshop Tutorial

Logo Photoshop Tutorial

This is another simple logo tutorial where we are going to use mostly simple tools in
order to create a logo like the one below.

Create a new file, select the rectangle tool and draw a black rectangle.
Now select the Convert Point tool and modify the upper left point of the rectangle like
shown in the screenshot below.

Repeat that but this time for the upper right point. You should get somthing like that.

Rasterize the layer and select the lower third of the shape with the elliptical marquee
tool and press delete.
Now create a new layer by pressing Shift+ctrl+n . Select the Elliptical Marquee tool to
draw a circle above our shape and fill it with black.

Create a new layer. Select the Lasso tool and draw this shape.

Fill this layer with black color.


Press control+D to deselect. Now press ctrl+j to duplicate this layer. Go to
Edit>Transform>Flip Horizontal and place it like in the screenshot below.

Now group and merge all the layers.


Select the Custom Shape tool find the shape shown below (it comes with Photoshop)
and draw the shape below the layer1 as shown in the screenshot.
Select layer1. Press Ctrl+J to duplicate the layerand then Ctrl+T to free transform it
and then rotate and place it like in the screenshot below.

Now group and merge these two layers (Layer1 and newly created layer 3). Repeat
the steps (Duplicating, Rotating) 3 times until you have something like the image
below.

Now add some text and our logo is ready.


You can of course add colors, effects or layer styles if you want.
