XY Positioning System for Tire-Coupled Road Simulators

If your testing involves a wide variety of vehicle sizes, an MTS XY Positioning System will allow you to quickly and accurately adjust your MTS Model 320 Tire-Coupled Road Simulator to accommodate the physical dimensions of your test specimen. MTS XY Positioning Systems are available in manual, powered or automated variations. Or, as an alternative, purchase a variant that meets your needs today and allows you to add functionality later.

Application Notes For systems with actuators 50 kN (11 kip) or smaller Track width range of +/- 300 mm (11.8 in) per system Wheel base range of +/- 750 mm (29.5 in) or +/- 1500 mm (59 in) when installed on front and rear Adjustment speed of 380 mm/min (15 in/min) Hydraulic requirement of 38 liters/min (10 gpm) at 90 Bar (1000 psi) MTS makes use of the hydraulic power already available in your lab to power the non-manual versions of the positioner.
