Weekly News Miss Ds Class

We have had a very busy week. We worked on asking questions using a picture from Chris Van Allsburgs The Mystery of Harris Burdick. We have also concluded our multiplication and division unit in Everyday Math. In Writing we have wrapped up our unit on writing openings and settings for narrative pieces of writing. In Social Studies, we began to look at and map the regions of the U.S. The students completed their first assessment on rocks in science.

Notes from the teacher : Please make sure to sign your childs weekly progress report. It will be sent home on Tuesday I am out on Monday, I have district training on the new evaluation system, please let Judith know of any changes to dismissal
