On October 29, 2013, Thomasville Police Detectives were contacted about a sex offense that occurred on October 28, 2013 at Thomasville City Schools. Detectives learned that a student had sexual contact with Byron Lattimore, a volunteer coach at the senior high and middle schools. Lattimore was charged with Sexual activity between School personnel and a student and is currently being held at the Davidson County Jail under a $25,000 bond with a November 20th court date.

On October 29, 2013, Thomasville Police Detectives were contacted by Thomasville Police School Resource Officers in reference to a sex offense that occurred on campus on October 28, 2013. Detectives contacted the student and learned that she had sexual contact with Byron Lattimore, a volunteer coach with the senior high and middle schools in Thomasville. Lattimore was charged with Sexual activity between School personnel and a student. He is currently being held at the Davidson County Jail under a $25,000 bond and a November 20th court date.
