NORTH BROAD STREET SCHOOL HOME OF THE FALCONS


Important Information for Parents
Candle orders are due on Monday, 11/4. Picture retakes are scheduled for Tuesday 11/5. (You might want to change out of your voting attire before coming to school.) We have a MOVIE NIGHT scheduled in the month of November. Our school calendar listed Friday, November 8 as movie night. However, we rescheduled the MOVIE NIGHT to FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 15 @ 6:30 PM. More information will follow, but mark 11/15 on your school calendars! You are invited to attend our Veterans Day Morning Ceremony on Friday, 11/8/13 @ 9:00 am. The assembly will be hosted by our 4th graders but all students (K-5) will attend. The Veterans Day Assembly will last for about 30 minutes and will take place in the gym. There will be no school on Monday, 11/11/13 in honor of Veterans Day. We encourage our students to honor veterans with a moment of silence on Monday, the 11th hour of the 11th day in the 11th month.

If I cut my apple and give you half, well have a common core! Get it?
Parent Teacher conferences are scheduled for Thursday, 11/14 (5-8 pm). Students are dismissed @ 11:30 AM on those days and lunch will NOT be served. Conferences are scheduled back to back in 15-minute increments. It will be important for you to be on time for your scheduled conference.
The remaining two conference days will be: Tuesday, 11/19 (12:30-3:30 pm). Friday, 11/22 (12:30-3:30 pm).

Parents receive report cards at the parent-teacher conference.

DONT FORGET TO SEND YOUR BOX TOPS TO THE LIBRARY!!!!!
