Update of applications of Applicants who have applied under DEMAND SURVEY conducted by HIMUDA in the Years 2010-2011

Queries after queries by way of emails/representations/ references/ communications are being received from the applicants who have applied in response to Demand Survey in the years 2010-2011 requesting therein to intimate them the status/updates of their applications. Some of the applicants are also seeking refund of deposits made by them under Demand Survey. HIMUDA has been replying to their queries from time to time and issuing refund strictly as per the stipulations made in the advertisement. HIMUDA notifies for the information of these applicants that the demand survey conducted in 2010-11 was merely to assess the demand of the general public for allotment of houses/plots and flats at various locations in Himachal Pradesh. On the good demand of public, HIMUDA has been making utmost efforts to acquire/purchase land throughout the State for setting up housing colonies. HIMUDA has given Expression of Interest inviting offers from the interested Land Owners for Selling out /Acquisition of their land at different places. Consequent upon publishing the said advertisement by various Newspaper, HIMUDA has so far received 33 offers for selling their lands and many more offers are pouring in across the State. Therefore, HIMUDA has the pleasure to inform all applicants under Demand Survey that the Govt. of HP has constituted Land Selection Committees for the acquisition/purchase of land under the Chairmanship of Honble Members of Board of Directors on 17.7.2013 and process of selection of land throughout the State has been initiated. HIMUDA has already taken a decision to allot 50% of the houses/plots/flats to the applicants of the demand survey which was earlier 25%. In case any applicant intend to confirm their amount of Rs 5000/- under demand survey he may contact Shri K.D. Sharma, CAO on telephone No. 0177-2622681. With the above updates, HIMUDAs reply to their communications may be treated as narrated above. Further development in the matter will be uploaded in website of HIMUDA from time to time.
